#!/bin/bash # Here you can set several defaults. In 20.04 and 20.10 the version of the chromium-browser package no longer matches the Chromium version running on your system. On 20.10, the package is stuck at v85 but Chromium was actually silently updated under the hood in the snap to version 87. Lm-sensors will be available in the default repositories of most modern Linux operating systems. On DEB based systems: sudo apt-get install lm-sensors. On RPM based systems: sudo yum install lm-sensors Usage.

The release features improved device detection, sample configuration files imported from lm-sensors.org, improved hwmon device classification as a fix for a problem with chips disappearing with 4.19+ kernels, support for JSON output in the sensors program and more. See the top of the CHANGES file for a detailed list of user-visible changes. Provided by: lm-sensors_3.3.4-2ubuntu1_amd64 NAME sensors.conf - libsensors configuration file DESCRIPTION sensors.conf describes how libsensors, and so all programs using it, should translate the raw readings from the kernel modules to real-world values. SEMANTICS On a given system, there may be one or more hardware monitoring chips.

Ubuntu can monitor CPU and other system temperatures, fan speeds, and voltages via command line, using the package lm-sensors, or via GUI applets in your desktop. Monitoring sensors via the command line with lm-sensors. Install the lm-sensors package (see InstallingSoftware). Run sudo sensors-detect and choose YES to all YES/no questions.
To install these tools, run the following command in a terminal: sudo apt install lm-sensors hddtemp $ sudo apt-get install lm-sensors In case the system doesn’t have sensors installed, these sensors will start downloading after the successful execution of the above command.
